Hi Everyone,
After reading so many uplifting and supporting comments, I think this is a good place for me.

My husband and I have had a bit of a tough go. After spending 5 years in a very long distance relationship-me in Canada and him in Australia, in November of 2014 we were finally together for good and able to start TTC.

In 2012 doctors found a very large cyst on my right ovary which turned out to be ovarian cancer. Luckly they were able to remove it...but out came my right ovary and Fallopian tube with it.

Six weeks ago my specialist performed a minor surgery to make sure there wasn't any scar tissue blockage in my left Fallopian tube from my previous surgery. It was very minimal and nothing that would have completely prevented pregnancy, although possibly making it a little more difficult. He sorted that out.

Because of my medical history, my Dr. has decided to fast track the process after only 8 months of TTC-seems more like 8 years with all the waiting. He prescribed me 50 MGs of Chlomid to be taken from cycle day 5 to cycle day 9. Today was cycle day 9, so we are just patiently waiting ovulation.

He has also asked me to start charting temps and has said to only have intercourse every second day.

I'm feeling hopeful but I'm definitely trying to not get too excited. I've always had a very fair idea of when I ovulate and make sure to have plenty of sex around that time. I use ovulation tests every months but charting is new to me

Is anyone on the same cycle day, on Chlomid for the first time or have a similar story?

I will be starting Clomid or Femara next cycle, need to wait one out after my last loss. But I am rooting for you and will be stalking to see you get your BFP!!! Do you ovulate on your own?

I'm sorry to hear about your loss TinyLynne and I can't wait for your BFP to stick. I take ovulation tests and according to them, I ovulate but my doctor isn't convinced. He's put me on 3 cycles of Chlomid and we will go from there. I haven't had any scans yet though.

I do ovulate every month, always on CD21, except for after my first loss and a cycle when I was sick, then I ovulated later both times. I chart my BBT, it has been SUPER useful in knowing my cycles and when I ovulate. Have you tried this?

My doctor just asked me to start doing this, but it confuses the heck out of me. I'm only on day 7 of actually charting and I've already forgotten twice. Temp peaks AFTER ovulation right?

Correct. Getting an App helps, I use fertility friend, it waits for 3 days of high temp to confirm Ovulation (so this would be at 3 days past ovulation) and don't worry, you will get used to it and it will become habit. Are you temping orally or vaginally? I found vaginally to be way more consistent.

I've been temping orally, but I've already forgotten twice. The wait kills me. I hope this month will be our month. I'm looking forward to your BFP! It's day 12 and we are so doing the dance tonight! I

Oh and I've just downloaded fertility friend. Hope this helps!

I hate fertility friend! It's got my cycle days all messed up. I can't even change it
