TTC #2 at 35 and problems conceiving & m/c

Hi Ladies

I am fairly new to this forum. I have a 4 year old DD and will be turning 35 in november. It too 19 mths to conceive DD#1, somehow i got pg on the first try but it ended in a mmc at 12 weeks. We then tried for 17mths (12mths was with a fertility specialist and meds) and finally conceived but it too ended in a m/c at 6 weeks but i didnt bleed till 12 weeks (this past weekend).

As much i want to have another child, i am worried its going to be an uphill battlw as i seem to have really hard time conceiving. I also have PCOS. In the past i have charted but using OPK didnt go well with me. I guess this is sort of my own rant to get my thoughts down, i really want to try but i am afraid that it will be month after month of disappointment and i dont know if i can handle it all over again. I wish if someone could just tell me if i could have a little brother/sister for my DD.

I am 36 years ol. TTC No2 for 18 months with no BFP at all. AF will show up today and the next will be my 4th cycle on clomid. I too wouldn't mind if someone could tell me that I will finally give a sibling to my DD. But nobody can... Success stories from this forum would be really hopefull for me so... good luck to you nitu and all the beautiful ladies in here.

hi nitu, I can understand how you feel. I feel pg 1 cycle ttc with my new partner, m/c a month later, and it has been 14 cycles ttc since. Like you I am disheartened, firstly that it might never happen again, or that if another miracle happens, it ends the same way and I am getting more and more anxious continuing to ttc. I will be turning 40 in Nov, so there is that factor too, we don't have a lot of time to be patient.

Many hugs to you, the prospect of ttc again must be so daunting. I hope you will find the strength to try again and this time it will happen quickly again

I'm on cycle 38 trying to TTC #2!! Had 2 MCs back to back , one was early at 5 weeks and the other was at 8 weeks but like you didn't find out until the 11 week scan, so had to have D&C.

Our first was conceived very quickly after only 4 months!!

hey - i am gonna be 36 in sept this year and my dd is 7 yrs old - she has been wanting a sibling for the last 4 years - trust me i feel so inadequate. Have had 2 m/c - sept 08 and jan 10 and am praying with everything crossed that i may be pg again. My firstborn son was stillborn at 29 weeks and so this will be my fifth pregnancy. My last loss knocked me for six but here i am again. Hang in there honey - we are built with some strong stuff - all you can do is stay positive.

I hope and pray this will be THE time for all of us x

Thanks ladies, i feel so lost these days. I look at all the preggo women and feel mostly sad and jealous, why oh why did i have to loose the pg again?
