Hello, I'm new to this but looking for some non judgemental support and hopefully to make some new friends who know what I'm going through.
I'm 36 and have 3 children and have been ttc a 4th for 2 and a half years. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks in 2008 and 2 early loses in 2009. Everyone seems to think that they shouldn't bother me because I've got older children. They don't understand it still hurts just as much. I've been told by a 'friend' that my last chemical preg wasn't a real loss so nothing to worry over. I could scream!!!
The first consultant I saw told me they weren't going to waste nhs money on me. It's taken me 2 years to get refered to a diff doc at a diff hospital. Anyone seem dr Pepper at Walsall Manor? I had my 28 day bloods (35ish day cycle) done the other day and see him on the 10th June, hopefully to get some help. I have pcos but have never been offered any treatment.
Af due on monday but I just have a gut feeling it's not worked again. I've become obsessed with my cycle and ewcm and things I'd never heard of before this. Taking vitex, royal jelly, baby aspirin, vitamins and folic acid.
What else can I do????
How much longer can this go on?? All my friends are having babies and it hurts espevially when they make a show of it being accidental. I'd love an accidental pregnancy.
Hoping to be given clomid and metformin because been told they work well together with pcos. Any experience of it anyone?
What do I say to nosey people who ask if I'm preg yet? Really just want to punch them for being so rude.
Thanks for listening to me go on and on,
Hope to meet some lovely new people here xx

Just wanted to say hi and send you some huge ((hugs)). Sorry to hear what you're going through
Wishing you loads of luck getting your bfp xxx

Hi I imagine the chemical was horrible! You still got your hopes up only to have them dashed so quickly. I would love to keep in contact I am 35 and hoping for a 4th. Maybe give each other some support?

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, the chemical pregnancy was awful, wish I'd never done the test then I'd be none the wiser to it. Keeping in contact would be great x

Hi Forget Me Not,

I know how you feel about some of it, I'm 35 and have a 13(almost 14) year old daughter and a 12 year old son. I was around 21 when I had my daughter and thought being young would benefit...which it did in some ways I believe but I'm now 35 and have kids that don't need me for a whole lot of things anymore and I know ladies my age that are just starting families. I'd like more kids in the house running and screaming even one more and I'd be happy.
I'm currently on 100mg of Clomid and its not to bad, I get a lot of bloating around O time and about a week after, I get a lot of hot flashes while I'm taking them and I don't sleep well. It is worth it if you get a pregnancy out of it that sticks, I'm on cycle 3 currently but will be taking a break from Clomid next cycle just because I think it helps to take little breaks and go back to it.
If never had a chemical pregnancy or M/C but I cannot imagine what that must be like. I think its my biggest fear in getting pregnant is losing the pregnancy,I'd also love to have an accidental pregnancy or a surprise and I too take the vitamins etc. good luck and no worries there's always someone on here to help or to just listen. I wish you all the best!!

LuckyM: If you don't mind me asking..how old are your children because I'm 35 as well and am always wondering how much fertility is affected at 35?

Hi I have an 18, 14 and 8 year old. I don't know how much our fertility is affected. I hope not by much :( Keep in contact, as we are the same age with older kids

Hi Forget me not,
I no your last post was a long time ago and i don't no if you still come on here but i was trying to do a bit of research on Dr Pepper as i am due to see him (hopefully soon). I am from the midlands also, walsall to be exact and i too have pcos and am finding it very hard to conceive! I was just wondering if he gave you the help you needed or if he was one of these doctors who just prolongs things even more?!. I have yet to find anyone else who has been treated by him for infertility issues so to hear back from you would be great!

many thanks and congratulations on your pregnancy.
