Hi everyone!
Im a new member and really confused..
I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 7 weeks
and i had a natural miscarriage on the 23rd of may 2016.. i then had my first af on the 23rd of june 2016..
My doc then prescribed me a bcp for three months which i started from the 29th of june.. however i took only five pills and stopped on 2nd july as me and hubby really wanted to start trying again(i know we shouldn't have started with the pills anyhow).. so on 8th july i had my withdrawal bleeding till 10th july.. and yesterday i.e. 12th july i had ewcm, not too much but a decent amount.. iv been feeling a little cramps today. My question is that is it possible for me to concieve in between the withdrawal bleed and my actual period and also is it possible to have ovulated just two days after the withdrawal bleed?? I just took five pills.. would that have stopped my ovulation??Im too confused. Just want a bfp! Sorry for being too elaborate lol

Hi, and welcome.

So sorry for your loss. It's been a long time since I took BCP but I guess it could be possible that you would still ovulate. People miss one tablet and still end up pregnant.

I guess that you are not checking OPK's or temping as you've not mentioned it, but ewcm is a good sign of ovulation.

If it was me, we would be dtd to increase our chances of conceiving, if you're both ready to TTC again.

Good luck x

Hey thanks!
Yes we are ready and excited
Just that i messed up with my bcp is really confusing me.. i had used an opk earlier this week but it was not when i had my ewcm so i guess il be getting some more opks.

Well hopefully you're still in with a chance :)

I can't get on with OPKs! Never had a positive one despite taking them twice a day at times! I prefer to temp lol.
