TTC after blighted ovum- looking for buddies

Hi,
Last month I had a loss due to a blighted ovum. I found out on the 17th sept when I should have been 7 weeks. My bloods have been going down steadily and I had a negative test two days ago so I'm hoping my period will start soon.
Has anyone else here had a blighted ovum? Just looking for others in my situation really and some TTC buddies!

Hi doodlepants, sorry for your loss. I didn't have a blighted ovum but I miscarried my baby on the 17th sept.
We are trying again straight away and hoping for the best.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I think part of me wants to fall pregnant as quickly as possible so that when I eventually start to deal with what's happened, I'll be pregnant so it won't feel as bad (I hope). I haven't thought too much about it all to be honest, I found it all too hard.

I'm just waiting for AF to turn up now so I can start trying.

Have you had your AF since your MC? Xx

Thank you. Did you bleed for very long after you miscarried? How long were your cycles before you concieved? I'm sure your AF will show soon, they say 4-6 weeks, so you can't be far off xx

Sorry for your loss. I had blighted ovum and I had Ｄ＆Ｃ in sept. I didn't have much bleeding then just spotting for few days but, I ovulated and had af, currently ttc and in tww.

I bled for about 7 days, it started on a Friday morning then got really bad over the weekend then eased off by the end of the week. I usually have 28 day cycles so I'm hoping I don't have too long to wait.
I would like to get pregnant straight away but I know I'm not that lucky so I'd like my AF to show up so at least I'll have accurate dates for OV next month!!
How about you? Was your bleeding quite bad? You were further along than me, I guess I had it a lot better than a lot of other people as it was blighted ovum and The sac was only measuring about 4 weeks I think xx

I started bleeding on Wednesday 16th and passed the sac the following day. I continued to bleed until the following Saturday (26th). I also have a regular 28 day cycle but have been trying before. Currently waiting to know if AF will come or not.
I'm so scared though, really don't it to come, feel like ialso need to be pregnant again as soon as possible to help me heal. X

I had a blighted ovum 7 months ago and am still waiting for my BFP which I'm hoping will be soon as I'm tired of waiting now.
Your AF should come very soon. Mine came 29 days after the op

Yes, I think the sac didn't grow past 6weeks and even after nine weeks I was jist spotting. couldn't bear to carry lifeless sac within me so decided to go for Ｄ＆Ｃ. Having a toddler to care for was also one of the reason I thought to get over it in a day.

I am 6dpo and planning to test on 24th. 10dpo seems to give me squinter so, might Starttesting from there.

Hope you get your af soon. Specially after miscarriage the feeling to get pregnant asap surfaces and gets strong. Totally natural.

I also suffered from a blighted ovum. I found out I was pregnant in february, diagnosed in march. Started hemorrhaging on April and bled till June when I finally got a D&C. It was the worst 5 months of my life I think. I finally got the courage to ttc last month. This month my baby would ha e been due and all the bfn tests are starting to discourage me. It's not over till AF shows though right?

Doodlepants, your period should show up soon. Even after everything I went through my period came back exactly at 28 days so fingers crossed for you!!!

i don't particularly know if i have blighted ovum, but i just learned today that my pregnancy will not continue. i am 6weeks+1. hcg dropped significantly in a couple of days. i was basically told to just wait for period to come. i'm so devastated. it helps to read here when a lot of you are so positive for trying in the future.

Oh Hun I'm so so sorry for your loss did you have an early scan? You poor thing, I will never forget finding out I was going to miscarry.

I remember crying hard the first night I found out then just focusing on when we could try again. Everyone's different and I think this was my way of coping with it.

Oh Hun you poor thing- to be honest, if I hadn't started to miscarry on my own by the time I saw a doctor at the hospital, I think I'd have opted for D&C purely because it would break my heart to still feel pregnant but know nothing good was going to happen

Oh Hun that's so heartbreaking, I'm so sorry you went through all of that. It was bad enough for me and it was over in a fortnight. I can't begin to imagine how hard it must have been to go through it over 5 months

Oh Hun I really hope AF doesn't come for you! That would be so lovely if you got pregnant right away. I think it really would heal- I feel exactly the same xx

I had that horrible sick bug yesterday and was feeling awful so sorry for the slow replies!!
I'm feeling much better today, I have some spotting but I don't know if it's AF coming or not as I have cervical erosion so I can be prone to spotting occasionally. I'm trying not to get my hopes up as I'm pretty sure AF will be here soon.....
