TTC after ectopic pregnancy. There's still hope!

Hello everyone..!

Hello! I wanted to create this forum for all of us out here TTC after an ectopic pregnancy...I'm new at Babyandbump. Not very familiar with the abbreviations and not really good at writing in English either...just be patient with me.
Short story. I'm 35 yo. I got pregnant in may this year, got my bfp on june 1st. Sine the beginning I knew something wasn't right because I had this little spotting on and off an some sharp pain in my left side. I had my family planner apt and they certified I was pregnant. I insisted on going to the doctor before my first regular doctors apt and ended up going straight to the hospital due de pain and bleeding. I passed a couple clots (sorry TMI) and on June 16 they diagnosed me with an ectopic pregnancy I had two rounds of MTX and had this painful and stresfull "miscarriage" process. I have two children from my previous marriage. I'm newly wed (August 6th) and my husband and I agreed to TTC again. This is my first try. My lmp was on September 20, and according to that I must have been ovulating on October 4. I bought this opk and check my cm. Did the BD on Sept 29, October 1,2 and 3. nothing on my ovulation day neither after that (We're trying to conceive a girl). My next period is due on October 18. So, i'll be testing pretty soon, maybe on the 14th. I'm nervous and ansious. This would be my husband's first baby and we really want to have our little rainbow baby.

Hi! Next month will be my first month back to TTC after having an ectopic beginning of August! I had one MTX shot august 9th.
Are you having any symptoms yet????

Nope, my beta levels went down to 0 at the beginning of august, but doctors recommended us to start trying after three months.
During the process the symptoms were horrible to say the least.
How are you doing?

Hello! I'm sorry I couldn't answer yesterday..
I got kind of busy between my kids and running errands.
Well, to tell you the truth im only having a little lower backache and occasional itching in my bbs...that gets me a little worried that I might not have gotten pregnant this cycle..because they're some of my pms too.
How about you?

We aren't trying until after my next cycle!!!! But with my ectopic (that was my first pregnancy) I started having symptoms right away! Vivid dreams, sore breasts, sore gums and teeth, and I could spell everything! So I'm hoping when I do try, this happens again! Don't give up hope yet! When will you be testing again?

I think symptoms for an ectopic tend to show right away, maybe because it had implanted in the wrong "spot".
I'm a little afraid about another pregnancy, but really looking into it. My husband want a baby so bad, so do I.
I'm supposed to test on Saturday the 14that the earliest, since my next period is due on the 18th.
The POAS urge itching got me yesterday and tested..and of course...a BFN.
I know its kind of early (6dpo), and at some point it makes me happy not having a bpf at this stage because it could (in my own ideas) tend to be another ectopic.
We'll se how it goes.

Just want to say hi. I had an ectopic pregnancy and had surgery on 28th December to remove part of my left tube and the baby 😔
I've had my first af so this is our first month ttc although we're going to not try not prevent for a while otherwise it will be too much pressure

Hi everyone.

Has anyone got any updates?

I had an ectopic pregnancy in June last year and my right tube was removed. I was in so much pain and went to the drs twice but they kept sending me away not taking it seriously.
Less than 1 hour after my second appointment I collapsed. Luckily I wasn’t alone as was heavily internally bleeding by this point.

I’m worried if we do TTC it will happen again.
