Hi everyone!!! I'm 27 years old and my husband and I have been trying to concieve since 2008 so about 4 years now with no success. I've had two HSG that confirmed that both of my tubes were blocked. I'm still not sure exactly what caused the blockage but assuming it was scar tissue. On September 19, 2012 I had Laporoscopic surgery to try to unblock my tubes. They were able to open my left one and sewed it open (which I didn't know they could do) but unfortunately they romoved my right one because it was too badly damaged. I'm just curious if anyone else had anything simular with any success stories. I'm really anxious to have a little one of my own and I just feel like the clocks ticking. Thank you.

Moved to the relevant area of the forum. Hopefully others will now see your post and respond.

Hey hun i have just had the same procedure. I found out that i was born with no R/tube and the R/ovary small. Both the L/tube and ovary are fine with a tiny bit of endo removed from behind and everything else in working order. I only had it done last week so i hope you dont mind me waiting in here with you to see if anybody post a success story. Maybe soon we will have one of our own :)

hey little lady. You waiting to hear a success story too :friends: I hope we hear some good one :)

Hi girls, I've just read ur posts and i had to reply, hopefully my story will give u hope and make u feel a little easier about ur journeys... So here goes, me and dh have been ttc for 3 yrs now, after lots of blood tests and scans I was finally referred to my local hospital to see a fertility consultant. So in jan I had a hsg test, this showed both my tubes where blocked.... Gutted. March 27th I had a 3 hour laparoscopy, they took away lots of adhesions from uterus, bowel and tubes, also they partially unblocked my right tube, once I'd woken they said I would need another lap soon to increase my chances. Anyway 10 weeks passed and I got the shock of my life... A bfp!!! Sadly I mc at 5 weeks. My consultant said as I had conceived to leave me a few months to see if it happened again... So now it's oct, I went last Monday to see her and she is arranging my next lap for January with a specialist from Sheffield. However Monday morning I took my usual monthly test and what do I know... A positive result within seconds. I've tested every day since and things r looking good, also having a 6 week scan soon. I hope my story gives you hope as believe me I thought it would never happen to me and I'm more than sure your turn will come soon x lots of luck

 congratulations and I'm sorry at the same time for your loss! Your story does give me hope. My lap was done Oct 19th for possible tubal blockage we got the all clear not other problems to my knowledge so just going on hopes and prayers till my follow up with FS at the end of this month.

Again BIG congrats to you and thank you so much for sharing your story!

Congrats, good to hear the surgery was so successful! Good luck at the 6 week scan.x

Hello ladies
I could have wrote this myself 2.5 years ago. We were LTTTC no2 and after going to a fertility consultant, were told we had secondary infertility  I had a laparoscopy where they found severe adhesions on my bowel and uterus with twisted fallopian tubes and clubbed ovaries. Some of the adhesions were removed but I required further surgery. A few months later I Had another laparoscopy where adhesions were cut away and my tube released and untwisted. I was advised that if I had not fallen pregnant within 12 months then I would most likely need IVF
After nearly giving up hope 11 months after the lap we fell pregnant, I was given progesterone suppositories to prevent miscarriage and had several early scans to ensure all was going well. I was very well looked after.
Anyway 9 days ago I give birth to the most wonderful, beautiful baby girl :cloud9: she along with my DS are my world, I can't stop looking at her and thanking my lucky stars for both of my children (I had several losses before conceiving my son) so both of them are a gift from above and I shall cherish them until the day I die.
Don't give up hope ladies, it's a long journey but you will get there one way or another.
I hope my story gives you hope and I wish you all the luck in the world.:hugs:
Xxx

ive been ttc for nearly 4yrs now. had laproscopy in the summer which showed severe adhesions probably caused from my emcs 11yrs ago with my son. in aug i had a laparotomy to remove all the internal mess. apparently i was in a right state inside. but some how i do have clear tubes.
im now on my 3rd ttc cycle since my op and took my last clomid pill last night so ill be ovulating next week. i would love to also hear positive stories and chat to any ladies going through this hell that is ltttc. xxxxx good luck to everyone :-))

p.s my friend had a laproscopy last year and was devestated to be told ivf was the only option due to one blocked tube and the other one was twisted. she also had some scar tissue and endo. as she was waiting to start ivf the doc gave her clomid. boom bfp just gave birth last month xxxxx
