My OH and I have decided we want to try again as soon as possible (we're currently in the end stages of a mc). I have PCOS so nothing is easy about TTC to begin with. I've heard OPK's are useless and even BBT aren't always as accurate as with women that don't have PCOS. I've no experience with the changes in CM as we were in the NTNP category for 4 years up until this mc, it was my first known pregnancy. So basically, I'm asking for lots of help.. from those with and without PCOS, any and all help would be immensely appreciated.

Hi Pixburgh, how you doing ?

First, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss :( :hugs:

I too have PCOS and I'm ttc my 3rd which is taking a long time although I was lucky enough to get a natural bfp in Feb just gone, I was also unfortunate enough to lose it 4 days later.

Are you seeing your GP to help ttc and manage your PCOS ? I've only recently called my doctor to enquire about having blood tests done to check hormone levels but that wont be till next cycle...i'm currently cd 19 of hopefully a 38 day cycle but I have a feeling this cycle is going to be loooong and whacky :(

Hope your ok, speak soon x

HI pix. I also have pcos and am ttc #1. I had one mc a year ago. I use opks and temp. While they don't work as well for us as those without pcos, I can still see when I ovulate. The opks always have a line, so it's important to watch for a line as dark or darker than the control. My temp chart looks like a mountain range, but I see a clear rise of around a degree after ovulation. It's worth doing both in my opinion. Good luck!
