TTC after medical management

Hello, I am just wondering how soon after medical management did you ttc/ get a bfp?

I took misoprostol on Friday to complete the process, since Saturday I've had spotting but no further blood loss in the last 24hrs... So I'm figuring that I have 2 options
1) TTC before af and hope I catch an egg
Or

2) wait for my af

I'm assuming EPU didn't say anything about ttc thinking I would continue to bleed until I have my follow up scan, so I'm unsure if it's even wise to ttc before then?

I'm still undecided if I should even ttc, still have feelings of guilt/ selfishness as I already have 2 beautiful children and having this miscarriage has been one of the hardest and most emotional times of my life, everything is still very raw.

Any help or guidance is appreciated x

So sorry for your loss.
I have always waited for first AF to reduce the risk of an infection as that's the last thing anyone wants. Normally women don't ovulate that first cycle anyway. But it should resume by the next cycle or the one after that.
The choice is yours ultimately. But personally I think waiting one cycle is best.

I had my medically managed miscarriage on 11th Dec. It took 6 weeks for me to get a negative pregnancy test so I started trying after that. I have just found out I am pregnant again, very early and so nervous but fingers crossed!

Thank you for your replies. I will see how my scan goes before I decide on anything, at least then I will know that all is well if we do ttc.

I had medical management last April. They told us to wait until after my first period following miscarriage to ttc again. We didnt ttc as I had just received my offer for university.

I had medical management for my last m/c 3 weeks ago. My bleeding stopped for 2 days after the first 6 days and then I started spotting again so don't be surprised if you get some more spotting.

My previous two miscarriages I had d&c's so I decided to wait until after AF but this time I was thinking of just seeing what happens. I don't want to actively try too hard but we won't be preventing.

I have been advised to wait a month to 3 months from various health professionals along the way, everyone seems to have a different recommendation. One of the reasons is to do with not being able to date the pregnancy accuracy but I always know when I have ovulated and my cycles are irregular anyway!

It is hard to know what to do. I was 100% sure we wouldn't try again when I was going through the miscarriage 3 weeks ago and now I just want to be pregnant again but I'm pretty scared of going through it all again.
