TTC after vasectomy reversal

my thing is..my hubby is willing to go to his follow up appt on may 30th but could care less if he gets his SA done...says if we get pregnant then we will know..I would like to have some idea if there is any hope or not...grrrrr!!

How frustrating!! Men! lol We just figured it was nice to know what we were working with, but like 'reversal', we were both told that we had poor counts with high percentage of anti-bodies, my Hubby only had 4% swimming, yet within 2weeks of getting our results, I found out I was pregnant!! So although we were gutted at our results, it just shows that they don't mean anything, so long as you have at least one and its swimming, your good to go!! xx

That's really great...my hubbies vasectomy was 9yrs before reversal so we shall see...trying not to get too excited...we shall seeeeeee!!!

Hi everyone
We got a letter from our consultant today...yay! Although he didn't breakdown the results he did say the vr was a success but non motile sperm were present. He also said that he was "cautiously pleased about the results". I thought non motile sperm were dead sperm but now thinking that they don't swim as they should? Please could anyone help? What are they?

I think non-motile sperm are alive but can't swim. I wouldn't worry about it - my DH had loads of dodgy looking sperm with 2 heads, no tails, non swimmers and all sorts lol! It didn't matter a jot because as you can see, we managed to conceive anyway. Good luck and lots of babydust to you x x
