Good evening ladies,
I am new, so if I am posting in the wrong section, I am sorry .. I am pretty sure this is the right one though It may be a bit of a long one though, sorry!!!
In short, I have been TTC for 2 years 5 months, I am fairly young - just coming up to 23, however I have never had a "normal cycle"
I started my periods about age 12/13 and for the first two years I was having really heavy periods every two weeks, then after two years I stopped having periods all together - nothing wrong with me health wise, no sudden weight changes etc, in fact at that time I was a healthy size 10-12 and exercised three times a week and had an active life style! Then I turned 18, and pretty much had a constant "period since". I have had in the last 4 years probably 6 months break spread out between the whole time. I have seen at least 7 doctors in relation to this, had numerous extensive tests which have confirmed I do not have PCOS, endometriosis, fibriods, STIs etc etc. All my hormone levels are fine, and I was put on the pill for a few months which made my bleeding worse, or the week it did stop me bleeding I was in the most horrific pain. I have seen a gynecologist in relation to this who at first was convinced I had chlamydia, however tests came back that I was all clear! He then referred me for a lapaoscopy, which they found absolutely nothing.
I am currently waiting for a letter to come through with a date to see another one to get a second opinion, however there has not been a letter land on my door step yet, and its been over 6 weeks and I am getting to my witts end.
I know I am not ovulating because I do not stop bleeding. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this, if so can you please enlighten me
Also next steps - Chlomid, how do I go about this. I am fully prepared to go private to get it - but what are the chances, also the criteria. I am classed as "over weight" although I am a size 12-14 currently and I think this is quite healthy! Would this effect my chances of getting it in anyway? I am also worried if they tell me they cant class that I have been trying as I have not been ovulating??
My husband is off to Afghanistan in March next year, and my ideal situation is falling pregnant before he leaves, however I am not holding out for miricales.
If anyone can offer any advice it would be so greatly appriciated!
