I'm new at this so not really sure how this works. We've been married 10 years this year and have been trying to conceive for the past 7 years. We've done 2 rounds of clomid only, one with clomid and IUI, all unsuccessful. The last round resulted in a cyst and we had to stop. With deployments to Afghanistan, and college, we took a long break. We were pregnant in July with no medications. When we went in for our first ultrasound, there was no heart beat and we were devastated. That was the first and only time I have ever been pregnant. We had a D&C to remove everything. Husband stationed in Japan and I live in California so timing is an issue for us. I was in Japan and was planning on being there for 2 months but had to cut my stay short due to the earthquake so we missed a whole cycle because I came home early. He is due to come home in a few weeks and we are seeking to try the injections. I am here for support. No one knows how we feel unless you've gone through it yourself. It is an emotional roller coaster. I hope to form supportive friendships on here!

Thank you. We hope to try again soon. I just feel the clock ticking for me.

I understand what you mean about the clock ticking and it sounds like your situation makes it so much harder especially if you are not in the same country.

Yes, it makes it even more difficult. I've always said I wanted to finish college and I graduate in a few weeks and we really feel like its our time. We made the mistake of telling everyone right away when we found out we were pregnant and then had to tell everyone we lost the baby. We will definitely go about it differently this time around. We're having to deal with insurance issues too. ~frustrated

Yeah I said I wanted the house before the baby. Got that but then I got sick and TTC got postponed for a couple of years due to finances (getting sick and having surgery is so expensive even with insurance ). We had only told our close family and friends but I made the decision to tell work colleagues after the D&C as I work for a small company (total 11 staff) and most of them are female so I didn't want someone inadvertently asking if I was pregnant. Still it was a horrible thing to have to tell people and most people don't know what to say to you, some of them just ignore it which I find the most frustrating.

I am sorry about your loss. Welcome and the ladies here are wonderful!!

Yes, some people can be so insensitive and for us who are trying so hard to conceive we are on emotional roller coasters! Thanks!

I'm so sorry you've been through so much! :hugs:

I've done Clomid and IUI and it worked the first try but of course I mc  I am looking forward to jumping back into it though! I can't imagine how hard that is with your DH being away.. I'll be keeping my FX'd that you can get the timing work out and have your little bean!! :hugs:

I can relate! I am an army wife and we tried for 10 months before he deployed and nothing... then of course we had to wait a year to try again... got pregnant the second he got off the plane lost that baby at 4w6d and were devastated. Got pregnant again the next month and also lost that baby at 4w6d. We have yet to get a BFP since then and are now working with a fertility specialist trying to get things moving since we are moving to Korea in December.

@holly, thank you. All we can do is hope. I used to tell myself for years that I would be ok with not being a mom (aunt to 6) but after I got pregnant and m/c I know I definitely want to be a mom! F/x'd for you too!

@luvmysoldier, wow, Korea! How excited. For us ttc military families, we know how hard it is with all the timing issues. We even considered freezing his sperm and having me continue with treatment but there were insurance issues.....(sigh) so hard. Good luck to you!
