Hi! I am 38 years old and my husband and I have been ttc since May and have been unsuccessful. We both have 2 children each from previous relationships but just decided to start trying a few months ago. After our second month of trying I started using a ovulation kit to track. Five months later, and no positive test. I just started taking Geritol vitamin. Has anyone heard about this helping with conception? A friend recommended it. I am feeling a bit discourage. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am sorry to know your story, but do not give up, as 5 months is too short period to say that you might experience any issues. You might try to have acupuncture or fertility boosting asanas, change you diet and/or lifestyle. Good luck

We're in a similar spot, but just 1 little girl between us. I'm 38, he's 39 & I'm desperate to give her a sibling, she'd be an amazing big sister!

I got a faint bfp a few days ago which gave me a bit of hope of getting pregnant, but seems like first time around.. early bfp's that don't last. I just need to catch the right egg!
I have been using cheap opks but not much else apart from that. I really don't want to stress about it but time is not on our side :(

I tried acupuncture, Chinese medicine, macca powder, preseed and I'm sure a few other things the first time around (buy not geritol). Don't think any of it really helped. Then after about a year of heartbreak I finally let go of everything and the next cycle got my happy bfp, I was 34 then, I don't think I can go through all of that again for my daughter's sake!

I wish you all the best, good luck to us both & keep us posted!

Given your age, after 6 months of TTC you should go and have an infertility work up completed. Not to be a fear monger buy fertility does decline with age, and if you do have any problems you are on a tighter timeline so to speak to access treatment. Having a fertility workup to determine if there are any difficulties is the single best thing you can do to ensure your chance of success.

I was put on prenatal vitamins, extra folic acid, and 200mg Coq10 which is supposed to improve egg quality.

Thank you ladies for taking the time to response. I am so happy to share that we are pregnant this month. Adding liquid Geritol to my daily routine (along with continued prays) it appears to have help. My focus now is to have a healthy pregnancy. I am so excited and it seems like a dream at the same time! Best of luck to everyone and please keep me posted on your journey!

I complete can relate. I received 3 positive test this month. Try the liquid Geritol once a day to your daily routine it certainly worked after my first round of using it. Best wishes!
