TTC number 3

I hope its ok to post here, none of the other forums Ive posted in have given me any replies.

Although I have two kids I feel like this is the first time I'm trying to conceive naturally. Ds1 was IVF as dh has low motility and count. We were given a very small chance of conceiving naturally. When Ds was 8 months old I unexpectedly got pregnant. It was a huge shock, but we were both obviously thrilled. The Dr's and nurses said they see our exact scenario about once a month.
We would like to try for a third and final baby. Given our fertility history we've just been NTNP since January and nothing yet. Its so hard to know whether DHs issues have resolved or not. His diet is poor and he is overweight and suffers a lot from stress which I know wont be helping.

Dh wants to try properly this month, ov sticks etc. I'm just wondering how long it should take without charting etc but just having regular Sex? (providing there are no issues)
We've done it around ovulation loads. We've got 4 embies on ice but Dh doesn't want to go down that road again. If we can't conceive naturally then we don't have anymore. I'd kind of like him to do another sperm sample to see where we are now but he in no way wants to do that. It's just hard to know if this is a normal time frame In TTC, or not. I'm 32 and he's 35.

I know I'm lucky with what we have but don't know where we 'fit' in the fertility stakes to ask.

Good luck and baby dust to you! I hope that you can get your BFP naturally and that you won't have to use your frosties!

My DH and I are gearing up to TTC #3 with a FET cycle this fall. My twins were conceived through an IVF cycle. I was hoping to get a natural BFP but since it hasn't happened yet I have lost hope that it would on it's own. We both had fertility challenges, DH low sperm count from a vas reversal and I have lots of things going on also. I have a summary of my LTTC journey in my siggy! I can understand why your DH doesn't want to go through the fertility treatments again! They are really exhausting both mentally and physically! I am trying to psych myself up again for my FET cycle now! It is so expensive also and we have to pay for it all ourselves! I have 3 frosties!

Fingers crossed you get your BFP the old fashioned way! Good luck! I think you guys have a good chance just because you have one son that was conceived natural!

I think you have a fab chance of concieving naturally as you have with your 2nd son. I am ttc #3 now its month 13 for us they say a healthy couple can take up to a year if not longer. Good luck and lots of baby dust Xxx

Thanks so much for replying ladies. We will try like a 'normal' couple lol. Conceiving naturally was the furthest thing from my mind with ds2,so much so that I was 10 weeks when I found out!! Great, you've encouraged me so we will really go for it 😀 Good luck to you all in your journeys xx
