Ttc - pcos, hsg showed 1 partially blocked tube - will i ever get pregnant?

Hi all,

i am new to this site i have read a lot of the threads and posts but this is my first time telling my story....

I am 28 yrs old and ready to have a family. I stopped taking birth control in august and didnt get a period until november, didnt think much of it because the birth control i was previous on only gave me a period every 3 months. But then i didnt get my next period until feb and i thought this isnt right. I went to the doctor they thought it mught be stress, b/c i was preparing to take my nursing boards. So she wanted me to wait another month. That month came, no period but i did get one in april. She had me get an ultrasound and x-ray which is when she diagnosed pcos, but i have no symptoms, no excessive hair growth, i am 5'5 and 140lbs.....she started me on the lowest dose of metformin 500 mg once daily. Still not period so she gave me a 5 day dose of provera to give me a period, then i went yesterday for an hsg. Sooooo much pain!! That doctor informed me that my left fallopian tube is partially blocked. I wont hear from my doctor until june 12th where i guess she will tell me my next step which im guessing will be a dose of clomid.....i feel a lot of pressure to have a baby and infertility is a huge fear of mine

any help/advice/other storied would really help

Yes! I only have one tube. My other tube is scarred from a ruptured ovarian cyst in my teens that put me in the hospital. Your doc will likely put you on clomid - which worked in two cycles for me.

My HSG was horrible too, I'm sorry you had to go through that!
