Hi ladies ...
So .. Iv'e spend a few hour trolling for tip's on TTC ... and found a few things out but im not entirley sure if there fact or fiction as there's SOOOO many diffrent stories online ..
Anyhoo, thought i'd share the few tips i've picked up so far .. if you'd like to add anything feel free .. I picked up most of these frm forums and NHS sites ..
also if anyone knows if these are fact or fiction i'd apprecitate the help
They're mainly about foods to eat when TTC .. hope this helps some of you
Do's & Don'ts when TTC:
-Avoid ciggarettes, alcohol & drugs .. (obvious, but ...)
-Avoid Caffeine, Coffee, black tea, cola & chocolate (this one came as a shock to me & my hubby .. he loves coffee & I'm a choco-holic .. )
-Avoid Excesses of Vitamin A, C & D
-Avoid Raw or undercooked meat & eggs
-Avoid Soft cheese
-Eat plenty of fruit & veg
-eat complex carbs such as whole grain,rice, oats and bread.
-Buy organic foods (? Not entirley sure about this one .. )
-Eat phytoestrogens like lentils, chickpeas and soya
-Eat oily foods such as fish, nuts and seed's
-Reduce intake of saturated fat from dairy products
-Drink LOTS of water
-increase your intake of fiber
-Avoid additives
-Avoid sugar on it's own or in hidden foods
-Take folic acid once a day
-evening primrose oil boosts CM
