Hello ladies!!
I am on a natural journey this cycle TTC.. I was dx with PCOS when I was 22 years old. I am now 39:winkwink: I have been TTC (trying to conceive) for over 12 years now. I finally got my faint BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) in May of last year after a long 199 day cycle. I had no idea I was pregnant. My DH (dear husband) and I decided to loose some weight and we were going to the gym daily, where I lost 30lbs. My AF (Aunt Flo - menstruation/period) had just came back. I always had to jump start my AF (Aunt Flo - menstruation/period) with Provera, so what I did was take some Provera about a week before I started feeling cramps... another week passed and I thought my AF (Aunt Flo - menstruation/period) should have been here by now.. well it hadn't come and Lo and behold I was pregnant. I went in for HCG numbers twice and they were not rising, so ruled chemical. I was just amazed at the fact that I didn't take anything that month but Geritol and a Prenatal with DHA AND GOT A BFP!!!! SO (significant other) then hubby and I were determined to get pregnant again, which I did with the help of IUI-Femara-Menopur-and Pregnyl. The next month!! How exciting right... So I think with my diet and exercise, the geritol and Prenatal w/DHA to jump everything in the right direction, has lead me to believe I can do this without meds AGAIN!!

Sooooooo...here I am about to embark on my new natural journey :happydance:(hopefully a short one) and these are the supplements I will be taking:

Geritol

Baby Aspirin

Soy Isoflavones CD 3-7 dosage 120,160,200,200,200

Vit E

Vit C

Zinc

Coq10

Prenatal w/DHA

Zinc
Magnesium
Calcium

Anyone want to join in? Lets chat about it and support each other.:hugs:

Day 2 on Soy Iso and I actually fell asleep 2 hours earlier than usual. I will look into Royal Jelly as I have heard good things about this as well...

Hello! I have PCOS as well. My first baby was clomid and my second was metformin, low GI diet and acupuncture.
I’m on my second cycle TTC #3. Just going with a low GI diet for now as I seem to be ovulating fairly regularly for the first time since I started tracking back in 2011.

Sounds like you’ve had quite a journey! Best of luck to you :hugs:

Hi! I am 34 and TTC my 2 baby with my husband, 6 years after our first. I got pregnant my first cycle using Soy with DD (NOT my first cycle trying-first using soy), so I'm planning on trying it next cycle, days 3-7 100mg. I forget the mg I took when I conceived DD, but I know I did CD 1-4 that time.

I also bought some preseed, I have heard good and bad things. I also am taking Prenatal and Fish Oil and will try to drink 12 cups of water a day (but that makes it so hard to hold urine for a test). Any advice is welcome and good luck ladies!

Thank you!! I definitely have!! I'm on a low carb diet now... and I work out 5 days a week. :hugs:

Hello!! and good luck to you as well. :hugs:
I use Pressed only when I'm dry... I like my natural wetness, but I dont know if that is a good thing or bad thing either... I try and remeber if I used Preseed when I got pregnant with my son and if I can remeber I think I did, even though I had an IUI w/meds as well. We had to BD that night and I think I recall using some preseed bc I was kinda sore from the iUI.

Hey ladies!! I am on my first cycle of taking A b complex supplement to regulate my cycle in hopes of lengthening luteal phase and upping progesterone levels naturally. I am currently on cycle day 10 and have taken 100mg of B6 and 50mg of B12 every morning. Normally my cycles avg 29-33 days each with ovulation happening anywhere from cycle day 19-24 leaving me with an 11 day luteal phase. I have read some sites where dr says 10 days is good but most fertility specialists like to see a luteal phase of 12-14 days. This cycle while on the vitamins I am noticing changes already. Today at cycle day 10 my cervix is high soft wet and seems to be open. Has anyone used b complex vitamins with a signifigant change so soon, and has anyone ever noticed it bringing their O date forward? Here is to hoping that my progesterone and luteal phase are the issues. Hoping for a bfp as my youngest is now 9 years old.

Heya loves. I've just posted but actually this thread is what I'm asking about!
Ehhh... day 24 after progesterone only implant removal. I've been using opk's daily in the afternoon, I always get faint lines but nothing exciting.

I'm taking the usual pregnacare and omega oils but I'm thinking I should try some other supplements to see if it will help kick my ovaries into gear 😂 but I don't know anything about it really, what you're all saying above sounds confusing... 😳 can anyone help me with a bit of a regime?

I've conceived naturally twice in 3-4 months ttc. My cycles are usually semi regular with 11 day luteal phases but I've never had any cysts or issues diagnosed and I've had a pelvic scan before.

P.s I know it hasn't been that long since I came off contraception.. patience is very hard... haha

Gracee I'm jealous of your lines! Hehe have you got your positive yet?

Hello ladies. I am entering this forum cautiously. I have three sons ages 8,7,4. I honestly thought we were done. But I keep having this nagging feeling that we should have another. It’s constantly on my mind. I am 34, dh is 35. So it’s kinda now or never for us. I’m still not completely comfortable with ttc. So it’s been a half-hearted attempt the last few months. But I’m ready to try using supplements to help this along and really give it a try. For my last pregnancy, I took geritol and soy isoflavones. And something else but I can’t remember what. But whatever it was it worked on the first try with it. I think I will do soy days 3-7. Geritol every day. I am not in the same place health wise or physically as I was 5 years ago when I got pregnant for my last son. I take a prenatal vitamin. Any other must haves for being 34 and a worn out mom of three?

Well my regimen is as follows

First pill of the morning is Baby aspirin- if you’ve had previous miscarriages
Which I have, this low dose aspirin helps.
Blood pressure pill
Geritol about 30 minutes later- very potent B vitamins

Breakfast or Lunch -Natures own Prenatal vitamin

COQ10 around 2/3pm

Zinc & Magnesium with dinner

I believe I just got my first positive HPT today at 8/9dpo!!
This is what I did this cycle:

If this is my true BFP.. Here is what I did this cycle. I do have PCOS as well...

I took Soy Isoflavones CD (cycle day) 3-7

Then I started Geritol (tonic) everyday until my BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) (yesterday)

Prenatal vitamin daily (lunch time)

COQ10 daily (around 2-3pm)

Zinc, Magnesium, calcium combo in one vitamin- daily at dinner

Progesterone starting 5dpo

I ate pineapple core 1dpo-5dpo (even though I only ate it on 4dpo and 5dpo)

I ate Brazil nuts after ovulation (helps aid in implantation)

Drank Pom juice during Ovulation period up until BFP (big fat positive (pregnancy test)) (to thicken uterine lining)

I didn't end up taking my Soy (only one pill), but CONGRATS! I will probably try more sups next cycle

Thank you so much!! I’m cautiously expecting. My lines aren’t as dark as I want them to be, but I’m going to keep testing and pray that they keep getting darker!!

Congrats on your BFP Gracee!! :-)

I'm taking all kinds of stuff and just went to the store to buy more.
I already take pregnacare prenatal vitamins and a supplement with myo-inositol.
Now I bought royal jelly, soy isoflavones and wild yam drops. I'm very irregular and don't ovulate often. I'm on CD 16 and my OPK's are white, there's nothing. I'm hoping these last supplements will really help.
I read that soy isoflavones are like a natural Clomid. Is that so? Do you always take in the beginning of your cycle? I'm TTC #2 and got my BFP for my #1 with Clomid.
Thanks for your help!!
