TTC & Vitex Help!

Help, I took vitex in liquid form for one month back in November. Then in December I up my dosage to 60 drops per day ( was doing 40). I stopped taking it in mid december because I was seeing an endocrinologist and wanted to hear what they had to say. any way in January I experience some spotting one weekend that last 3 days. It started out with CM mixed with some blood then last 2 days just light spotting. So i thought it may have been implantation bleeding. but I tested 2 weeks later got a BFN. Then Just Yesterday (2/09) I got some spotting ( no CM mixed in this time). So I thought AF was coming. I never ever had spotting without AF following immediately after. Like it would be light then build up to AF. But never this! I am confused. Did the Vitex some how messed things up? anyone just stopped vitex and had similar issues? I am really praying that this spotting is implantation bleeding! I took a HPT this morning and got a BFN.
