Just looking for other ladies who are trying for a living child. I've lost 2 babies in the past year and am just hoping and praying for some to keep here with us. We've always wanted a large family and I figured we'd be well on our way by now. I consider myself a mother, but sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get to actually parent. :(

Hoping to meet others in a similar situation to get/give support. :flower:

This is me as well no living children, we lost our first in August.

Sorry for your loss :(

How have your cycles been since? Mine have been a little off so it's hard for me to know when/if I'm ovulating.:/ So hoping for a bfp this cycle!

Part of your gang too unfortunately. Max was our first baby. X

I have PCOS so I don't have cycles, it's been 9 weeks post loss and no period yet, which for me is normal. Working with my RE to do some additional testing and hopefully today we get the go ahead to start the femara this weekend.

Oh I see. What does femara do? I don't know much about it but I've seen other women talk about it.

Femara causes me to ovulate.

Hey. Same as you I'm afraid. I have had two Losses. One December last year and one back in April. Been ttc for 16 months now, feels like forever even though its not compared to what others go through . I dreamt last Xmas that I would have a baby this year and I'm not even pregnant. My rainbow would have been due next weekend. Sorry that you are also in this boat Xx

Danser55, oh I see. So when you take it do you ovulate right away or how long does it take? Were you able to start it this weekend?

Trying4first1, I'm so sorry. I would have been due next month too. Another holiday season surrounded by everyone's babies except my own. :(

Where are you now in trying? I'm about 8dpo and not very optimistic, but still itching to test!

I started taking the femara today(CD 3) I take two pills a day for 5 days. On 11/9 I go get checked by my RE for follicle sizes. I will then follow up on 11/16 for blood work to check my progesterone levels to confirm ovulation. I will typically ovulate CD 14 or 15.

Sucks doesn't it. My sister in laws are trying again for another I think and one has three kids and the other five. There's me who can't even have one! :dohh:

I am only on CD9 so waiting for O. I normally ovulate CD16/17 on a 28 day cycle so not a long long LP really. But it's just enough. What day are you testing?

How is everyone doing?

I was going to try to wait until this weekend but I think I'm going to test in the morning. I think I'll be about 9dpo although I'm really not sure.

Hello,

I'm also ttc first living child. Lost my twins at 10 weeks end of September. I have PCOS so rely on drugs to ovulate (Clomid). I couldn't wait for my period to start post miscarriage, my periods are typically 4 months apart. So i got Provera from my GP to trigger a period which started today! So CD1 for me today.

So sorry for all your losses. I find it incredibly hard being surrounded by everyone elses babies and pregnancies. My sister in law who still lives at home and who is in the middle of her degree announced she was 17 weeks pregnant in September. Then I lost my babies and I haven't been able to see her or talk to her since. I suffer really badly with pregnancy jealousy. I've had counselling for this miscarriage but I think the pregnancy jealousy is my biggest issue.

Really hope that we all get our BFPs and live births soon xxx

Just wanted to give some encouragement. I lost my first at 36 weeks and now cautiously optimistic at 5w1d. It will happen.

LouOscar, so sorry for your loss. I'm so glad you're moving forward and yay for cd1! :) hope this cycle works out for you.

I tested 2 days ago, which was early, and got a bfn. Not shocking. I'm leaving Saturday morning for a trip and I'm not taking any tests with me. I'm just going to assume af will show up and prepare for that. (but secretly hoping to be surprised) Hoping the getaway will take my mind off ttc so obsessively.

Hello ladies was just wondering if I could join being ive been trying so hard to be a mommy. me and DH are trying to be patient almost willing to do anything just to have a little angel.

Hi iloveme. Of course you can join, so sorry for your loss.

Where are you in ttc now?

I'm currently CD9 taking 5mg of Femara (Letrozole) I go in for blood work and u/s tomorrow and will be having iui in a few days.
