Hello ladies - i'm new to this "assisted conception" malarkey and i'm just wondering if someone can explain the process...?
I'm currently living in China and so there is a HUGE language barrier between me and my doc and i'm hoping you guys can fill in the blanks for me
Some background... I have been diagnosed with PCOS - I came off birth control to TTC Nov 2012, My first (and only) period since then was January 21st. I have some cysts on my ovaries and my progesterone tested really low.
My doctor has now given me Progesterone tablets for 10 days to induce period - she is then expecting me to TTC for 3 months before she will consider Clomiphene - is this the normal procedure? Has anyone had any luck with just progesterone?
Thanks so much for your help - it's hard enough wrapping my head around this - without having to translate using her bad English and my bad Chinese!!
