Tubes clear but right one dilated?

Has anyone been told that their tubes are clear but one is dilated? My fertility specialist says that she won't be IUI unless the non-dilated tube is releasing eggs!? I haven't talk with her in length about it but I'm confused?

I would be confused too hun... sorry I can't help, but can you call the clinic and maybe ask them to explain? My clinic is very good about that. They have answered lots of questions I come up with between visits! lol.

Hello Michelleplant, I have a similar situation than yours, but in my case both my tubes are dilated. My consultant has sent me to IUI as my tubes are open... not sure it was the right thing to do... Finger crossed
