Twin a having tachycardia

Messica do you Remeber your glucose levels? Mine was 142 which looks like it's not too far off. I have hypoglycemia so I'm wondering if it just takes a little longer to drop. I did fail the first one with dd too. Praying I pass the second!
Great to know you got a second (third) wind. I could use one!
The dr gave me something to help me sleep but now with baby having the problem im so scared to take anything. I asked the drs about it and they said it was safe but they can't be 100% sure, that was enough to make me suffer through. Thankfully I'm off work now so I can try to nap when I want to.

My first readings (I never did the test, just dove right into testing with glucometer) were 150-190's. I managed to get them down in the 120-140's for just a couple of weeks with diet, but then they slowly started to creep higher and I was starving having to cut out near all carbs just to keep in those ranges. Started with low dose insulin - one unit per carb, that only lasted a couple of weeks too, so eventually endocrinology bumped me up to two units per carb along with an additional 1-2 units based on my level before meals. That's when I finally stabilized. It was AWESOME because I could pretty much eat whatever I wanted to with that on board.

I completely understand being leery of taking any meds, but remember that if you're not getting good rest your babies are more stressed and can't grow and develop as well as they possibly could. I wonder if you being better rested and relaxed might help baby's heart rate settle a smidge - might be something to ask doc!

Well I failed the 3 hour pretty miserably. I don't eat meat and I honestly don't even know what to eat now

Ugh, I'm so sorry. I have no advice, but I wanted to give you a virtual hug. :hugs: Everyone says this, but it's absolutely true: all of this will be a distant, faded memory as soon as your babes are here. I promise!

Did doc let you know what plan is? My first step was to meet with a diabetes teacher of sorts. Protein isn't limited to just meats hun. I ate a lot of eggs, beans, greek yogurt, nuts and nut butters.

Its more the carbs that got me - no cereal, breads, pancakes, pasta etc. I had a CRAZY hard time keeping weight on with those largely out. It wasn't until I was put on insulin that I stabilized and started to gain again.

I know meat isn't the only protein source, but it does make it more difficult. I get my protein from dairy mostly. I've eaten so many eggs this pregnancy that I almost can't stomach them anymore.
I love carbs, I could eat cereal for every meal!
I have my regular appt with mfm tomorrow so they are going to go over everything then. I'm assuming I'll get something to test with at home?
I've done some research and after a good cry im feeling better. The problem is I've done strict low carb plenty of times in the past to lose 10bs here or there, so I either know all or nothing when it comes to carbs. I'll be glad to get a plan tomorrow.
I don't need to gain anymore weight so I'm not sure what the plan will be. I am interested to see if I'll feel better. Like you said maybe me being so yucky about food has something to do with being out of balance.

Diabetes is diet controlled.
Now baby girls svt seems to have resolved itself but they are pretty sure they see a vsd (hole in the heart) which can either close, be small and cause no issues, or require open heart surgery at 4-6 months. They won't know until after she's born.
