TWW - First IUI

Hi ladies, my name is Mel..I am 43 (soon to be 44) and had my first IUI done on Thursday, December 7th. I didn't have many follicles but they were perfect sizes and medication worked instantaneously. However, I am feeling very anxious, on progesterone twice daily, cramping and lower back pain. Can I be getting AF, I am due on December 21st for AF, same day I test for my pregnancy test. I am new to all this so please forgive me as this has been an emotional journey, unexplained infertility and 2 major surgeries to remove fibroids which were blocking my uterine cavity. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I am so sorry for the fibroids. I can say that fertility is a long journey. You cannot feel the pinch unless you undergo the journey. I have been through the same. Failed IVF'S and IUI. But I never gave up. For you do the same. Be persistent in your search. At first you will be anxious. I understand that too. You are not comfortable in your own skin. The testing the medications. They will feel overwhelming. But do not give up. It might be a short journey or long. No one knows. But one thing for sure do not give up till you make it at the end. Just do what the doctor tells you. I am sure you are in a comfortable place. Because 5the success of your treatment depends wholly with the clinic. I had various failed attempts till when I came across this clinic in Kiev, Ukraine. So I have to be sure with the clinic that you are dealing with. It must have a high success rate with fertility treatment.
