Quick back story, in case any of it applies to anyone else:
...fast forward to find me with really wonky cycles, as long as three months between AF, and us with dreams of becoming a family.
So anyway, now my cycles are brought about with Provera, and I'm on my first cycle with Clomid.
I've got my fingers crossed for my very own BFP, but just in case...
1) If AF doesn't show her ugly face, when should I officially call it a failed cycle and begin Provera again?
2) Do us irregular ladies test at the typical 14dpo or do we usually have to wait longer?
I'm assuming normal, since regular cycle or not, the hormones released should be around the same, give or take, as a pregnancy from a lady with a clockwork cycle.
I'm just going nuts
while doing my best to take it easy and not stress at all.
If you have anything else to comment on about irregular cycles and needing the ART, feel free to share!
PS: Unfortunately, seeing a doctor as often as possible and getting blood HcG tests isn't an option for me right now...
I have never had a clockwork cycle except when on BCP. When I was almost 24, I had all the symptoms of pregnancy...praying to the porcelain god every morning, missed AF for months, bloated, exhausted, thirsty, thinning hair...we were psyched! Long story short, tons of tests were done by a baffled doctor, and it was finally decided I had thyroid cancer (yes, I'm fine now!)

DF's insurance was switched, and we're allotted a glamorous FOUR doctor visits each per year. But don't worry about pregnant me or baby...as soon as I get my BFP, as much as I hate taking gov't stuffs, I'm going to jump on state health, since, sadly, the free/low cost plans are *better* than what DF has working for Microsoft! Isn't that awful??
