Hey ladies....
So DH and I just had our first FS appointment! Yay! I have been such a wreck through all this but after just one appointment I am already feeling hope and excitement. No time is being wasted, IUI next cycle! She told us that everything we have had done so far looks good except that when I had my HSG done, they did not do enough investigation probably because I was showng so much pain. It did show clear tubes though, she just can't tell what my uterus is like. Anyways, she wants us to jump right into iui. I am quickly learning that I have to part with my modesty but a transvaginal ultrasound on day 3 of my period? Oh no! Gross! So the question is quite blunt.... How do you prepare yourself down there for something like that? Do they tend to let you wash up before you go in? I am a pad user not tampon... Is it better to use a tampon that day? I know, nasty but come on, I need help! I keep telling myself, they do this everyday.... I am no different and I am definatly going to have lots more of this stuff done but still.... Uh.

and yes they do them every other day and it is nothing new for them. I have on occasion brought a few baby wipes with me and when they leave the room so I can get undressed and on the table I do a quick wipe and a way I go. I am a tampon user myself and that definitly makes things a little cleaner down there to begin with. So if you can I would try using a tampon for that day and bring some baby wipes. Hope this helped.
