Girls do not worry if you need to pee in that hour before as long as it's not a few minutes before your scan! Your bladder will fill enough to see what they need to see. It shouldn't be uncomfortable!

Think it depends on the health authority. With my mmc I went to booking appt and the mw sent referral and I got a letter in the post-no choice on date etc. We've moved since and this time I made the scan appt with the desk when I went for the booking appt so could choose when. They printed off an appointment letter. It says 1 pint of still liquid 1 hour before. Re full bladder I had a private scan @ 9wks and had requested a tv scan due to prev loss and she started with abdo one. I hadn't drunk a thing as was so nervous but she didn't have any problems getting s pic.

Hey nessaw I see your pregnant with twins! I'm 11 weeks 6 days also with non-identicals! Congratulations. I had a mmc with blighted ovum too it totally broke my heart. Any onwards and upwards
