Uk ladies,midwife home visit 34 weeks

I have mine tomorrow,just wondering if still same things happen as do at clinic?Also do they check the room where baby b sleeping etc?

I don't have a home visit booked - I didn't have one with the boys either - maybe it's something they do in your region?

Hi,

I had a home visit on Friday as they were fully booked at the surgery. It's all the same as the other appointments - position check, blood pressure, urine sample. No idea why they'd want to see where baby was sleeping/what it's got to do with them?

I had heard that someone at some point b checking where baby will sleep,maybe that's health visitor!

No one would be allowed in my house to 'check where my baby is sleeping'! They would have fun standing on the porch all day. Lol.

Well just spoke to someone and they had home visit too at. 34 weeks too,think its the region where we r that do them,apparently midwife checked the room where baby b sleeping etc and if house had smoke alarm
