When I was pregnant with my son, I had a midwife appointment that took 2-3 hours. This didn't include my scan. Well it said it can take that long but it was more like 90 minutes. Just lots and lots of form filling and a blood test (I think). My scan only took about 10 minutes, then we went round for the downs blood test and then we went home. Probably was there no more than an hour x

Thanks guys, I'm hoping that's just the worst case scenario, but going to let work know just incase. My scan isn't until 1:30, so they will probably be running late by that time I imagine! It should just be a scan & blood test to see the risk of Downs Syndome, but I won't be waiting for the results as they'll be posting them to me (not that it'll make a difference whether I'm high risk or not) will let you know how it goes, super excited and super nervous!
