Umbilical hernia???

Im suspecting Keira has a small umbilical hernia. Naturally, Im freaking out, but it looks reducible and Im able to pop it in when its out...She has an appt next week, so Im waiting to hear what the ped thinks.

Has anyone else dealt with it?

My first DD had one, it healed on it's own

Looks goofy, but I wouldn't worry too much. Ped will keep an eye on it too.

Kacy and Kira had one but they have healed them selfs.

Noah has one, and its healing on its own, I read somewhere putting diaper over it can help keep it in, so I started doing that and its really helped. Infact he might not even have one anymore, looks just like an outie belly button

Erica didn't have this, and this might sound weird but my dog did. We got him when he was 8 weeks, and he had one. The vet said it was ok, and it ended up healing on its own. I'm sure it will be ok, but I'd ask the ped also.

Thanks guys...Im used to seeing them on foals. We simply band them and thats the end of that.
