unbearable leg pain? only 4 weeks..

I've already got varicose veins on my leg which only started a week ago, but i'm not sure if this leg pain is anything to do with them as it's all over and on both legs but one of the legs doesn't really have any varicose veins on it and that's the leg i'm getting the most pain on, it feels like shooting pains/something heavy on my leg. It's 2:33 and they're that bad they woke me up:/ I've been taking paracetamol and it's not helping, I've fallen asleep a few times but get woken every hour, has anyone else experienced this? not sure if i should go doctor about it as i don't know if it's normal or not..
