I've read the book and have just watched the season 1 finale and apart from the title and characters it doesn't even vaguely resemble the book, its really disappointing, and the acting is far from great, overall a huge flop for me !

It wasn't meant to be the same as Steven King was on set and helped guide it in the direction he wanted it, but I agree the book is better.
