So with this baby we have decided to use the name Austin whether it's a boy or a girl. Blake Shelton has a song called "Austin" and it's about a girl named Austin, that he's completely in love with. I love that song and I've always wanted to name one of my children Austin. If it's a boy, the name will be Austin Henry James and I have no clue as to what the middle name will be for a girl. Hubby and I still have to hammer out the deets on that one lol.

Any of you ladies have some girly names that you think will flow nicely with the name Austin?

If it helps, my oldest is named Marley and we named our little angel, Zakk.

I don't see why Austin couldn't be a boy or girl's name! I know someone with a daughter named Aiden.

I's also suggest a different spelling like Austyn to make it more feminine, but that's obv your decision

DH likes the name Austyn Belle, it sounds so cute!! I love it also! So I think that's the name we are going to go with Thnx for your help, ladies.

When I was a teenager I always said I would name my daughter Austyn - I love it for a girl!! I've never, ever heard it used for a girl though! I LOVE that song too. I don't think that's the girls name in the song though - I think it's his "nickname" for her bc he heard she moved to Austin, Tx. But I could be wrong! Austyn Belle is very sweet! I like the name Austin for both genders!

Ruby I was about to say the same thing. Lol the girls name isn't Austin, the girl left to Austin. I did know a girl named Austen, pronounced the same way
