Story-Mai/Mae please
I really like it but worried about what others would think?

I love the name, but I wouldn’t be brave enough to use it. However, I would absolutely love to meet a little girl named Story. I don’t think people would thinking anything bad about it. I’d go with Story-Mae, Mai would be pronounced “my” and if that’s what you want I think Mae sounds much better with Story. Super sweet.

Story is cute, but I’m just not a fan of hyphenated names, gets confusing behind the scenes (paperwork, record keeping etc.). I work in healthcare and see a lot of conflict surrounding hyphenated names, it’s quite frustrating.

I like Story Mae. Personally I would put Mae in the middle spot but if you really want a double-barrelled first name then I suggest not using a hyphen. My son's last name has a hyphen and I leave that thing out whenever I can, I hate it!

A girl I went to high school with named her daughter Story Brooke so I think Story Mae or Story Mei would be lovely.
