I AM SOOOOOOO SICK OF THIS

Basicly FOB is constantly all over place... we were together for 4 years and broke up after finding out he cheated (i was 2months pregnant at the time) naturally i ignored him for some time and ended up been bombarded with messages like...

il be there for the 20 week scan if u want

and

even if we aint together nemore this calls for civilness all around and how this is a new relationship we are entering... bla bla bla

how even if all he can be is a part time dad, its the things he does that counts and that hel be a good dad!

Anyways we got along from then he did attend the scans, suggested names, looked up baby stuff to buy would come round have a laugh suggest this that n the other... things were civil... but as soon as his parents found out (he said he had told them when he hadnt ) the shit hit the fan! they found out little over a month ago and needless to say hes been pretty damn nasty to me since! wasnt even me who told them lol

Now i havnt spoken to him since apart from to tell him baby was fine at anntenatal check to which i got a reply happy everything is ok ill be in touch when i get home... well hes menna be home 2mo so i txt 2day suggesting we meet up at weekend and speak like adults about what will happen when baby comes .. BUT NOOOO hes not gonna be back at weekend now and he dosnt actually know when hes gonna be back (which is utter crap)

he then goes on to say he only wants limited involvment so he dosnt see why he should attend this 1 midwife appointment (where they will explain how to feed/hold baby etc) or feel its his place to even be at the hospital when his babys born!! i mean for gods sake we were together 4 years i aint just some girl he knocked up in the street!

i asked him what he meant by limited involvment n he never answerd me so i told him that if he meant just throwing money at me and baby he can shove off as i dont want it... baby aint a tax! i then get a reply saying he never mentioned anything bout money and he wants to be there just cant every weekend because of his post grad he wants to do... well this is what we had discussed from start and i was kool with so i dont understand why hes making this an issue!!!

He even had the nerve to txt me having a go at me for making out he didnt care! lol... well if u cared surely ud atleast be at the hospital when your son comes into the world and would want to make sure everything was ok with him!!!

He just contradicts himself all the time... one min he was gonna be at the birth the next its just the hospital now its nothing then it was taking time off his post grad to be there then he wasnt now he dosnt know!!!

GRRR IM JUST SO FED UP i feel like just telling him to sod off... im speaking to his rents on the 19th (if they even bother to show) as im happy for them to see their grandson... i have no issue after all hes done to me it seems to be him who cant be civil for the sake of this baby!!

Sending you hugs I'd be really fed up with that by now as well - you really don't need to be messed around when you're planning for your baby! I hope things improce for you - from what you've said it sounds like he wants to be involved when he feels like it!

I hope things go well when you speak to his parents xx

hes just so damn stubborn... its like he wants to be involved but he dosnt want any of this to be straight forward so instead hed rather make it as stressfull and hard as possible so he can then turn round and be all "god this is a horrific situation"... i cant even be bothered with him nemore 2bh next time he turns up at my door at 3 am il tell him where to go x
