Up to how many DPO can you get implantation bleeding?

I have been posting tests on here for a while to see how early I can get a positive. Some say they can see a line, some not..... I've been having all the symptoms that I had with all of my other pregnancies. Now for the question, is 11 DPO to late for implantation bleeding? I had a small amount of brownish CM today, AF isn't due until saturday....I never noticed implantation bleeding with my others... anytime I was bleeding it was a bad sign....I've been pregnant 4 times, and only DS to show...

Sorry it's been such a struggle hun. Hopefully that is a good sign and you'll get that BFP soon!!!!

I've read online (in many many places) that implantation can occur from 6-12dpo... HOWEVER, when I asked my Fertility Specialist, she said there is a small window for implantation to occur, as the uterine lining starts to break down soon after ovulation. And that would be about 7dpo (give or take)... so really, I'M CONFUSED! lol. I think I might ask another specialist next time I am there just to clarify?

If you go by online though, it's totally possible to implant that late. I had, what I thought was IB one time at 12dpo... but again, when I asked the FS, she just said that's not really possible and that most likely it was a drop in my progesterone level that caused some bleeding... ah confusion say what? LOL.

It's also possible to have some light bleeding during very early stages of pregnancy. So that could possibly be it as well.

Unfortunately for all of us in the TWW- there is no way to know for sure... till we know!

If it's brownish though, then it's old blood- so that's good.

It could be IB as the blood can take a while to reach the outside if you know what I mean (which is why it's brown, as it's old). So it's well within the implantation window as the blood can take a day or two to travel. Hoping it's a god sign for you!

I know this is a super old thread but I'm curious of the outcome. Your story matches mine almost perfectly. I've had three miscarriages, I have one rainbow, I'm 11dpo today and started spotting brown cm. I see you did have another rainbow and a third otw. Congratulations!

when baby implanted at 6 dpo in the morning, i did not have any spotting whatsoever but i did feel as if i had a full blown period going on at 7 dpo! it lasted for 20 minutes. still no blood or spotting. but ive heard that some women spot for a week, even enough to fill a pad (which isnt common but it did happen to someone ive spoken to before) and other times its two drops in one day. everybody is made differently so theres no sure way of knowing how long its supposed to last. i didnt even have any spotting so hm!

also, implantation occurs well past missed period. i think the implantation is complete around week 6 of pregnancy. and week 5 is a common time for women to spot because of their uterus growing and stretching and knocking some of the blood loose.

I'm 6dpo and have had the tiniest pinky coloured spot after wiping today. Really hoping its IB. For you and me both!!
