Update - back from my appointment

I just got back from my appointment. I didn't even have to use my well-practiced speech!! He offered me the lap as well they are going to do a D&C and a hysterscope (not sure I have the name right there). All three procedures are going to be at the same time, and I will be asleep (thank goodness). As well, he did not bump up my Clomid, but changed it from days 5-9 (5 pills) to days 3-8 (6 pills) since I take mine for unexplained infertility, not because I am not ovulating. I also have to now get monthly progesterone levels checked with a blood test around CD22. He is absolutely sure that I will become pregnant one day! He sounds so positive. I told him that I have very little hope anymore, but that it makes me feel good that he is so sure it will happen. So....now I have questions!!! Anyone here get the above procedures done...and if so, please tell me how it went. The good, the bad, and the ugly!!! Oh, and one sad note..he said all those faint faint lines that I have been getting, he said that since tests are so sensitive...he said they are chemical pregnancies.

i am glad you got what you wanted ...i think those procedures will give you some answer and it's said it clean your inside on the same time sooooooooo you can be super fertile after them!!!

I forgot to say that I am on waitlist for the lap/D&C/hysterscope and it will be about a three months wait. When they have a date for me, they will call and let me know. Until then, I continue to TTC with the Clomid, Prometrium and now the blood tests.

I'm glad to see that your appointment went well. I know many friends who got many of these treatments done and become pregnant shortly after esp..since they clean you in the inside really good.

I had the lap/dye/D&C done in Sept, it was good since he found endo as well as uterine polyps. Pain wise, it wasn't bad at all I took the week off work and had some lovely Percocets to help me through
I did have to wait six weeks before BDing as your cervix is open so there is a greater chance of infection. No BFP for me yet, but we also are dealing with MFI.

Thanks for the info. So, about a week off work will do??? Were you quite tender down there, and what about flow??? Will I have a flow afterwards???

I was a bit sore, but mostly on the first day. I also fell down the stairs the day after so that didn't help! As for the flow, there wasn't that much...just spotting mostly for about three days but I had just finished AF a few days before. The one thing was that it was hard to pee for about four days...but my Dr said it was normal.
