This is really getting agravating. So go to the doctor yesterday cause I've been having lots of issues this past week. They blow it off saying its all normal and just part of it so just need to deal with it. And unless I have bleeding with the pain then don't need to worry. And I know this isn't normal. Last night was up once again but even worse pains starting in back and wrapping all the way around my belly, and practically crippling. I couldn't really time them cause couldn't tell very well when started and stopped just seemed to be continuous. And although the pain has died down some this is still going on this morning and my back is just killing me. Also at the same time LO's movements are practically nonexistent. I may feel just one little slight movement in a day and that is all. Doctor says only need to worry if don't feel her at all. But surely I should be able to feel her more than this. I try the counting thing and often times I don't get all 10 movements. I just don't know what to do anymore :cry: Doctor is blowing this off as nothing, but I know in my gut something is not right. I just don't know how much more I can take. What do I do? My husband won't take me to L&D cause he says the doctor knows what she is talking about more than I do so I should trust her judgment and not worry so much. I feel like I'm at my breaking point. How do I get my doctor or at least husband to listen to me?

Ahh hun, can you call your labour and delivery ward and explain to them what is happening? If they say to go in to be monitored your husband will definitley listen. I think you really need to be checked out, it could be early labour or a UTI and if baby isn't moving as much as normal it needs to be looked at.

LEt us know how you get on xx

thats not good
just turn up and maternity and they will check you out for sure you no your body
goodluck and try not to worry
xx

^WSS...get down to L&D, they can't turn you away. Is there someone who could take you there if OH will not?

At the end of the day, it's your body and touchwood if something is wrong, you want to make sure you've done everything you can.

FX for you x

i agree, you know your own body and gut instinct is NOT something to be ignored.
I would definitely go to your labour ward and mention this to them. They will monitor you. I would go with or without my husband. I couldnt forgive myself if something happened and i hadnt took it further :hugs:

you definitely need to get checked out hun. If you feel something is not right then you know best and believe it or not you already have some motherly instincts so go with them and get seen. Do you think you could just drive yourself to L&D? I have done that before when DH has acted like I didnt need to go and refused to take me...good luck and let us know!!

I would definitely go in again and get checked out. Just put it in simple terms - you're in pain and you have barely felt the baby move. I don't know how they could ignore a request to be checked out on that basis.

You might have to kick up a stink. Tell them you feel that something is not right and you're worried for your baby.

Thanks ladies. I'm going to have to see if someone at my work can take me cause we are down to one car at the moment since one is in the shop and so hubby dropped me off today.

If you think something is wrong, phone the labour ward. Your OH will have to listen to you if they advise you to be checked out! Good luck, im sure everything will be fine :)

I agree wi the other ladies, keep us updated Hun xxx

I agree with everyone hun- You are the only one who knows your body- Better safe than sorry I always say- It might be nothing, but you want to be 100% sure... Keep us updated :)

I hope everything's OK!

Definitely agree that I'd be going to L&D with or without my husband. I hope you can find somebody to take you there! I'm sure you can... people tend to be pretty helpful towards pregnant women, especially if they say they think they're having contractions.
