Following my 4th spinal fusion surgery 11 weeks ago....and then wanting to try for a baby with my fiance... i contacted the hospital to see if my surgeon was ok with TTC.
After a week of waiting, and my surgeon talking to his colleagues...I finally had a call back today. He said.....
'I don't see any reason why you can't go ahead and have more children. There are risks with pregnancy, even for people without spinal trouble. You're young enough (28) that should anything go wrong with your back, you would be a good candidate for surgery.... So we have no problem, and you have been doing really well since your surgery and are pain free, that we feel that this is it this time. That your spine is as good as it will be'
Now....just to get the appointment to have the Mirena coil removed
