Update Mama4 from yesterday...

Quick update:
I took another Answer Test this am and it is without a doubt
I now believe that the tests I was hoping were faint positives must have just been evap lines..I am trying not to think about it too hard and yet its all I think about!
I thought my cycle would just go back to being normal (I assumed this based on my past cycles) after coming off the pill in April. But looking back and counting my last cycle actually lasted 38 days instead of 28! So maybe thats going to be the new normal for me and I am actually testing too early still. has not arrived...so maybe theres still a chance this cycle???Who knows?
I know its just the beginning of trying for me, but my 4 children were conceived so quickly, I'm going to REALLY have to learn some patience TTC #5!
I know good and well I should put it in Gods hands and let it be.
That is so hard, isnt it ladies?
I am thinking of all of you and wishing each of you sooooooo much luck!

i may be wrong but arn't anwer tests 50miu ?? i know the one i got from my chemist was. how many dpo are you ?

I am unsure exactly how many DPO I am. My cycle hasnt been regular for the last 6 months or so and I was just guessing I should start on July 5 based on a 28 day cycle that I used to be on. I had a normal period that started June 7th and lasted 4 or 5 days which led me think I am ovulating normally. I havent been charting or anything so I cant be accurate. I am now 33 days into a cycle so i thought a test would show for me if anything was there

on tues am with fmu the answer test i bought at cvs showed a VERRRRRY light + then i took a first response on wed around 11 in the am and it too showed VEERY faint line every test since then has showed negative

It depends what source you use online as far as the sensitivity of the Answer test....some list it as 25 and some list it as 50??? Not sure It claims on the box to be able to detect pregancy 5 days b4 a missed AF

I guess I am just thinking that if there was a viable pregnancy then the Answer test would still show at least a faint line and truthfully i think it should have shown up even darker since its been 3 days since the first faint + i thought i saw...

I still have not gotten AF so I suppose its possible that i ov WAY later than I figured I would ...but the seemingly positives earlier this week are confusing me since everything else has turned out neg without a doubt

no prob's, i think your best bet is to do another frer, i've done loads of these and never had an evap on them completely clear when negative, when i got my pos on it it was very very faint but knew it was pos as all others had nothing at all. good luck and let me know if you decide to do one x x

I think I will give myself a break on the tests for a few days - each since the first two that i thought were faint makes me feel all sad! Its like "step away from the EPT" hahahaha!

Have you ever actually had a test that resulted in an evap line at all? Ive never seen one before but I kinda thought it meant if I took a test, its obviously negative within test time and then hours later go back and look again and think i see something shadowy...gray...like you REALLY have to move it around in the light to even see it at ALL

The 2 tests showed the FAINTEST pink line within 5 minutes or so...but the test said look at it at 3 minutes and at 3 min there wasnt anything
Do you think 5-10 minutes would produce an evap line? Doesnt it take a bit longer for those things to dry than that? What do you think?

STILL - thinking it over and over ---I still figure I should have had at least a faint line off todays FMU if anything was still there...regardless of the previous This stuff is confusing isnt it? When I was younger I didnt pay attention so closely! Now I am going on 38 and WANT the 5th baby so badly! I am worried I've waited too long....

i've never had an evap on frer, i have had them on others when they've been negative and dried out, but it does sound positive to me, if you go onto pregnancy test gallery, i posted mine on there under (yes ? no ? maybe ?) if you can find it have a look and let me know if its anything like that.

YES! I found your pics - Thats exactly what my first answer test and also the only FRER test both looked like...but i dont think within the first 3 minutes! It had to have been at least 5, 7 maybe even 10 minutes before they looked that way...they were sooooo light, but they were pink - the lines are still there and havent really changed any - crazy light!
but that was on tues and weds and since then nothing has shown up

I actally saw that thread and looked at your pics yesterday! I found them encouraging thinking - "hey that looks like my test!" haha

i think your pregnant then !!! took about 4 days after that for it to show up a bit darker on another frer. get yourself to shop and get another frer (i'd be running down ), let me know how you get on. i'll be waiting to find out when you decide to do another. good luck x x

ok ok...i suppose there is still hope eh??? Question...within the 4 days it took for yours to show up darker did you take any other tests and were they only FRER's? Did any of them come back negative? I cant get the blatantly negative responses outta my head!

Monday afternoon answer very very light pink well after time limit was up
Tues FMU answer very very light pink within 5-10 min
Weds around 11 am FRER test very very light pink within 5-10 min
Weds evening $ store brand test def BFN
Thurs am FMU $ store brand def BFN
Fri am FMU answer brand def BFN

Still think maybe??????????

day one frer negative, day 2 ic 10miu very very faint hold in light in window and squint. so did a frer the one uploaded on here. day 3 3x ic 10miu still to hold at window and squint. day 4 frer darker then 2x ic 10miu still very very faint. day 5 clear blue digital pregnant 1-2 weeks. hope you understand all that.

Yeah it makes perfect sense to me.... I guess if any of those BFN's had shown me even the slightest tinge of pink I'd still be hopeful...but the last 4 tests ive taken show nothing at all...where did you get the 10 miu tests???

I suppose the most logical thing for me to do is to continue to wait it out (arrrgh!)
If AF still hasnt come by sometime next week I will def buy a FRER and test again...
The waiting is enough to make me want to scream! Feeling so confused and uncertain is just not cool. I dont know whether to get my hopes up or just start accepting that Im NOT - this is harder than I remember from my last one!

When was your last AF? I can see that you just got a on July 2nd
I am thinking our cycles are pretty close since I got what I hoped was a on July 6...Just curious...

thats kinda what i figured...my last one was june 7 and i was xpecting AF on July 5

I suppose it is possible that i didnt ovulate until later and my cycle is just longer than yours...I also know that sometimes/usually implantation doesnt happen til days after ovulation I know each person is different but i think if i was pg i should get a by now...

are your cycles always regular?

no thats fine ask me anything if i can help i will, yes i am regular as clockwork every 28 days, yes you could of ovulated later i was using ovulation sticks so i know i ovulated 22nd june so i was 10dpo when i found out, implantation can take up to 12 days i think and if you ovulated late might have only just implanted.
