Last week I wrote to you to ask for advice and thanks to all who replied. After my blood tests they send me for a scan where they could not see any baby at all but blood. I did an ectopic pregnancy and I have just came back from my operation. They removed a tube and they will check on my hormones levels next week.
I can't sleep well. It did not hit me at first I have lost the baby but the after shock is coming now and I feel low.
They told me I am also at high risk for next pregnancy and should have a scan at 6 weeks to check.

I have a beautiful boy of 3 who is plenty enough for me and I think there will be no more babies after this experience. But I do feel very sorry for the ladies who are trying hard to have a child and are not successful. You are very brave to try again and again because it is a painful process to go through. You have all my admiration and support.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I recall feeling like I had been hit by a truck emotionally and physically after both of my ectopic's (both resulting in emergency op's).

It is true that you will be monitored closely if you do fall again as unfortunately after one there is a slightly increased risk however my GP assures me that if one tube has been removed and there are no other underlying issues then medically they deem it to be a better position as the 'faulty' tube has gone. (How true it is I don't know)

This site is a brilliant source of people who an offer help and advice and be a shoulder to cry on for you, I read more than I post but have found it very comforting. My thoughts are with you xxx
