Update!

Just a quick update for those who have been following since my first Journal. Lara is two years old now! She's very brilliant and chatty! I've now been with my girlfriend for over a year, and Lara's "sperm donor" is incarcerated. He is not convicted yet, but he is no longer allowed near Lara until she's 18 - I am two years into a criminology degree, and in the running for a scholarship to law school!

So, to you single moms who are wondering how you will ever get by - it's possible. It's hard, but it gets better from where you are now.
