Before the whole appendix issue I was having severe panic attacks......horrible horrible! But since the appendix issues started I haven't had any anxiety or panic issues.
Maybe my body scared itself back to normal lol

The surgery was done laproscopically (prob not correct spelling lol) so the recovery time is a lot faster, PLUS they managed to get to my appendix before it burst.....phew!

when I had my appendix removed, before I knew what it was, I too was having panic attacks/severe depression... so I think it is our body's natural reaction. OH and I was only 13

Our biggest tortoise "Speedy" weighs about 100 lbs, way too weak to heave that...lol

Its best to wait until it rains, that way the tortoise poo softens, & splatters when it hits something

I had to laugh at my dogs they were totally puzzled, the tortoise went back in it's shell so was basically a rock, and had one hod pushing it with his nose and the other one batting it with his paw.

The funniest thing with our tortoises, when they DTD Speedy the male makes a loud grunting noise

I always wonder what the neighbors are thinking

So tortoises make grunty sex noises, I was not aware of this but I'll keep this info in mind in case it ever comes up in a pub quiz or something.
