Updates with pics ** HELP! Pg tests getting darker not lighter???

Hey ladies - as you know i had my mc about 2 weeks ago. I stopped bleeding a week ago. I been doing pg tests that the hospital sent home with me.. but i swear they are starting to get darker again.

My hcg was 150 prior to mc and then last friday it was 44 so deffo a mc. Iv only had sex this weekend with dh since ( and i started to bleed again)

What the heck is going on? Anyone?

That seems really weird. I think it's time to call the doctor. Keep us updated - I've very curious.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's such a hard time and then mc's are so confusing and a crappy waiting game.

i dont want to scare you but I would talk to doc asap though becasue I THINK it can also be a sign of ectopic pregnancy when HCG continues to go up. Again, not trying tl scare you and I am not a medical professional, but from what I have read I would see a medical professional right away to be safe!

Thanks laughing duck.. I did go back and have two more blood draws. 47 then 36 so the hcg is going down albit slowly. They think the action of having sex so soon after the mc stirred up and stimulated everything down there which could have made the level peak again... who knows.

On to the cycle. Xx

Im sorry you are going through this. I would second what laughingduck said, that is worth keeping an eye on. Did they scan you to make sure the MC was complete? Having sex shouldnt be able to make your HCG levels go up surely? Unless there was some tissue remaining, which I think can happen. I would keep testing and if they are still not fading out then get seen again. They should really be wanting to see your level back at zero - did they ask you to go back later for another draw or anything?

No, no more blood draws.. but I did test today and it was negative so feel confident all back to normal etc. Just hoping I start ovulating again so we can try again etc xx
