Uploading pics from iphone 4s

Following on from my other photo thread, I have now have an iphone 4s which arrived today.

I have tried to upload photo's from my camera roll, but again it says the file is too large. I am completely confused, surely I can't be the only one with this phone with this problem? It let me upload pics from my old iphone 3gs no problems (although I am aware the camera is not so good).

Does anyone here have an iphone 4s? If so, can you upload photo's direct from phone as opposed photo bucket or whatever? if so, how?

iPhone and iPads must be updated to iOS6 software or over to be able to upload pictures on the forum. This might help anyone reading
