Hello ladies

I was wondering whether anyone has been experiencing upper back pain.. between the shoulder blades and neck ache too?

Everyone talks about lower back pain and I've never ever had it. Not at any point through my first pregnancy and so far, not with this one.

I must admit, I freaked out a bit last night as it felt like I had that dreaded tip of shoulder pain which could indicate ectopic but it passed.

Besides the neck/back ache, I have cramping on and off, a permanent headache, some dizziness, on and off sore boobs and itchy nipples and tummy and the odd bout of nausea.

Anyone else wish to share how they are feeling today, I'd be glad to read them. I'm 6 weeks today though haven't been scanned to confirm.

Hiya!

I think it's probably due to an increase in weight in your boobs! I get pain in my neck most of the time because I'm very well endowed in that area lol. Try improving your posture, imagine you have books on your head and they have to stay there. Or that someone is pulling your head up by a string. Keep your shoulders back and relax. This should help the pain. HTH.

I've had back ache pretty much all over my back although it mostly is in my low and mid back. I have also had a bit of neck ache that has radiated towards my shoulders too. I can't offer much reassurance in that I haven't had a scan yet but there has been no bleeding and my sore bb's, mild nausea, frequent urination symptoms are all there still :) I'm just assuming that because of what our bodies are going through that we are going to have more aches and pains than normal....

Thanks ladies, its great to get a bit of reassurance =)

Hi henrysmumkaz, I have had similar symptoms to you and have been searching on here to see if anyone else is in the same boat. A year or so ago, I went to see a physio about my shoulder/neck pain so I did think it was bad posture. But the pain is more in the middle (between shoulder blades) and below the neck base this time. It seems to be worse in the morning and after reading a few posts here and general internet browsing, I'm thinking that I need a support bra during night time!! I did a clearblue digi test last Sat and it only showed 1-2weeks, so am not sure if am too early to be experiencing these things. Am off to the Docs tomorrow morning so will ask!! :)
