Hi. Does anybody have any info on or experience of this disease? Seems like very few women have it but it may lead to kidney damage so the symptoms to be monitored carefully. I have faced painful urination problem at least 4 times in 3 years. It seems to be triggered by my ovulation hormones. any feedback is much appreciated.

PS: they could be ovulation pains but the pain is not in the pelvic region and very clearly in the urethra (sorry for TMI)

I had urinary tract infections the odd time throughout my life, I guess 5 times in the space of 8 years. Then I was given clomid and I pretty much get it every month around ovulation time :growlmad: As far as I know its related to the change in hormones (namely estrogen) that affects the PH balance down there and can make the urethra drier and more susceptible to infection...?

Over the last 14 cycles, eight of them have been on clomid and I think I must have had urinary tract infections on 10 of them

Nothing to do with endo as far as I know but thought I would share anyway!

Thanks.. must be the hormones then.. I hate the fact that we women have to go through all this :(

Take care, fellow sufferer!
