Uti/Kidney infection

Wife just texted me that she'll be heading to the dr's after work. She's been having some symptoms of a UTI the past 2 days and today had some back pain too. Very little spotting, barely noticeable but there. Anyone have any experience with a UTI or Kidney infection? She's had a bad headache on and off for a few days and she's thinking it might be connected.

I went into a&e with severe kidney pains on 29/12. That's when I found out I was pregnant actually while I was there. The pain wasn't linked at all though, she should be absolutely fine x
