uti while pregnant?

So I went to the doctors 2 weeks ago and they told me I had a yeast infection (it was, I know what one feels like) and I took monistat.
My doc calls me today and says I have a uti..
I know what a uti feels like to, and I don't have any symptoms? Like burning when I pee or pressure.
Could he have misdiagnosed it or can you have a uti with no symptoms?

You can have a UTI with no symptoms! I did. I had no idea, until one day my back hurt so bad and I was getting horrible cramps! I called the doctor and when they checked my urine they told me I had a bad UTI after some tests they said it was so bad it started some early contractions, I was 29weeks 4days:\ I was on bedrest for 2weeks after that and on an antibiotic. I hope you feeel better hun!

I've been having some shooting pains, but just thought they were from pregnant.
I'm seeing my new ob on tuesday and asking her to test my urine too just to make sure before I take antibiotics

I had a UTI when I was pregnant but I stopped taking the antibiotics after a day because they were making me sick Just flushed it through myself with cranberry juice and water. I never had any symptoms.

Definitely possible. Can be really dangerous too so I'm glad they caught it.
