Vaginal Pessary for Short Cervix anyone?

Hi,

I'm currently 15 + 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd pregnancy and had my first at 27 weeks due to a short cervix. 0.7cm's. baby girl is now 3 and perfectly fine x

I'm due to see a foetal medicine team this week at Medway hospital in Chatham, kent England who research the vaginal pessary to put round the cervix (rather than a cerclage) to hold the weight of the pregnancy.

Has anyone had this or know of anyone whose had this for a short cervix.

I got put on the same ones nearly a week ago
My cervix was 2.3cm
But now I have PROM
I hope you have a better outcome xx
