Vaginal Ultrasound - no pregnancy seen

My lmp was Feb 6 and I should be at 6 weeks 2 days. I went in for a vaginal ultrasound hoping to hear a heart beat but the dr saw nothing! No sac or anything all he saw was a cyst by my left ovary. I had a miscarriage in November but I have had no cramping or bleeding at all this time. I had a positive home test on March 2nd and my first apt at my dr office to confirm on the 9th. I did HCG levels today and go back Sunday for my next set. I have no hope right now and feel like it's all happening again! When I miscarried at 5-6 weeks they saw the sac and yolk but no baby and I passed it naturally after a week of constant bleeding.

could possibly be a chemical pregnancy? have you gotten your hcg results?
